MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for python-freesms [2]: Discontinued, defunct self-developed Python library of submitter, with misleading name and pkgdesc, and no reverse dependencies.
This never provided "free sms" services, only the initiation of "SMS to self" notification messages using a SIM card with a contract from for-pay French mobile service provider named "Free Mobile". The library no longer works, as the provider switched the API from asking for and accepting a username and password sent in cleartext, to requiring a user-enabled, auto-generated unique, static API token. The latter is not supported by this legacy Python module that is out of development for 3+ years.
