There will be five classes – Club, Standard, 15metre, 18metre and Open. (If
there is sufficient demand, there may also be a 20m 2-seater class).

Club class is open to all gliders defined by the IGC rules as Club (generally
of performance less than that of an ASW20 – includes Jantars, LS4, old Discus,
Libelle, Cirrus and ASW20a – LS8 and Discus 2 are outside the Club definition,
and can fly in Standard class). For state comps, pilots in their first or
second comp can enter Club Class in a higher performance glider. Club class
will also be tasked with Assigned Area Tasks (AAT) which allow lower
performance gliders (and lower performance pilots) to compete more fairly, and
get home every day. The other classes will probably fly a mixture of fixed
tasks and AAT.

Early bird discounts are available till the end of December and places are
secured in order of valid registration & payment. For detailed info, see the
sites above and for outstanding questions, email comps at keepitsoaring dot
you-know-what or use the club contacts page on the website.

Best regards,

CJ for LKSC
