If you are planning on flying in to visit, you basically can't unless
you arrive depart very early or at night. Check the NOTAM.
Not very friendly for aviators i.e. people who are already into
aviation who might just be interested in looking at gliding.
I can see that you don't want arriving and departing aircraft during
the launch and arrivals but Briefing isn't until 9AM each day.
Oh well.

Security passes, it's pretty standard at a WGC - I've been to three
& have three at home. Naturally helps with many things, more so for
the gliding people & the locals (police too) - there's a lot of
strange people in town, allows others to identify who's there for
the gliding & who's there for what ever other reason..!
Good for the local businesses too to see that the WGC people are
spending in their town & being rewarded for their possible sponsorship.

We plan to arrive about 6 or 7pm Friday after landing at
Wangaratta and getting a rental car.
We are staying at the Comfort Inn.
I am not sure about the evening dinner, so we?ll see when we get there.
