Subject: [Aus-soaring] Cambridge 303 screen problem

Hi all

My much loved Cambridge 303 seems to be expiring. Lately it mainly displays
hieroglyphics, and, at the times when it does appear to be operating more or
less correctly, is slow to respond to button presses. I know that this an "old"
product, but I really like it as a backup to my LX Nav V7/Dell Streak
combination, and it is the only in-flight interface to the 302ACFR (i.e. a
logger, not a vario) to which it connects. The 302, by the way, works
perfectly, and does accept tasks and download traces via its serial port.

So, has the LCD screen met its maker? And if so, does anyone have a 303 lying
in a drawer that they would sell me? Otherwise I'll have to find something else
to fill the panel hole...

Regards
Niall Doherty
