Simon, You assessment of the analysis is perhaps putting forward an incomplete or incorrect picture.
The Flarm unit was tested and all specifications including RF output and receive sensitivity were checked to be within specification. The unit was also detecting a reference unit nearby. It should be noted that you were not charged for this work. On this, I have copied both Flarm and LXNAV. Additionally, your flight traces were sent to LXNAV for analysis and it was seen from those traces that the Flarm is detecting other aircraft. Have you checked the display device? That could be culprit or not set up properly. May I suggest that you send in the complete system and I will evaluate. However if a fault is found, normal repair charges will be levied.
