About 10 years ago it was discovered using the 302 vario pin 2 for +ve was causing strange shutdown of vario.
Thus ONLY pin 1 should be used and add a $3 Jaycar on of switch in the red +ve wire. 4 years after the garmin issue thete are still varios navigating but not downloading a valid flight or date year us wrong. 4 more garmin are on there way but please check you instrument.
