Hi Caleb, I totally agree with both your points, and commend Nick on his initiatives. [This also includes his input in helping set up the concept in the first place.]
I would be interested to hear (on this forum), from Nick, if he gets feedback re bugs. Given the variety of devices in use out there, I would guess that a bug or two somewhere in the mix is almost inevitable??? On checking the F1 website, I see that a ballot was scheduled to happen on 30 June 2018, but as far as I can tell there is not yet a result update on the site. Is the outcome available? Subject: Re: [Aus-soaring] Waypoint Manager Hi Richard, Not quite sure what you are meaning, but yes, a possible solution would be to assist someone with a SeeYou licence to assist. That said, I think Nick has been generous with his time in developing and sharing something with the gliding community that is both accessible and easy to use. Nick should be commended for this - thanks Nick! So, I created a google maps based web application to make this task easier. It allows the generating of .dat files (for cambridge) and .cup (for just about everything else). https://www.f1gp.com.au/go/waypoints There are potentially some bugs - if so, please let me know.
