Yes, nice panel and good photo, but you would be suprised at the number of
older gliders which do not even have an audio vario.
I hope you made final glide. Even with a 20 kt headwind I thought Boomerangs
went better than 7800 required with 35 Km to run on a 2 kt ring setting.
Don't slow down or you will go backwards.
