Hello John,
Congratulations on having the guts to report your findings into this
unfortunate accident, on this forum. I am sure we are all glad that the
two pilots were not more seriously injured and will both fly again soon, if
not already.
Your report allows those of us with open minds to understand that this sort
of accident can and does happen in such a short space of time that it
catches the best of us unawares.
There are still only two types of pilots out here:
those who HAVE and those that MIGHT, because we all CAN.
Only by open and honest reporting of the facts of the occurrence, by not
assigning blame and by not sprouting assumed selfish opinions immediately
after an unfortunate occurrence can we all learn the real facts about
aircraft being damaged and humans being injured in the course of our
recreational pursuits.
