That bugs affect the aerodynamics of an aerofoil section is not news (I
can remember the bug problem being discussed during my aeronautics
degree in the '70s).
However, it is interesting that they are developing 'new blade angles'
(I presume they mean new aerofoil sections) for rotors that (along with
non-stick surfaces) will minimise the problem. I look forward to seeeing
what they come up with.
