Oct 21 first hot day near the coast east of Adelaide. Eric got away early. It was an hour later for me to get away (hot sun on winch cable, windy and gusty with 600kg glider = cable breaks, how surprising) good soaring locally (the odd 8knots to 7000' with shear wave boost above 4000'), but no better further north (usually the inversion rises that way). 25kt N wind at operating levels gave a slow outward leg; turned at 5.30pm and had a slow quiet run home with a moderating tailwind. Visited the power strip at Pallamanna, the meat bombs further north on the way out, a client's property, and the Monarto Zoo on the way home. Nice day. -- Emilis Prelgauskas B.ARCH ARAIA [EMAIL PROTECTED]
