The look of nearly every glider since the Standard Cirrus is a remarkable example of convergent evolution I would have thought. More importantly, the things over which most design ingenuity and angst has been spent by every glider manufacturer for thirty years - the aerofoil and the structure - are pretty well invisible. Actually, with a side opening canopy, I would have thought more Twin Astir - but then they all look the same to me. :) Graeme Cant _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp -- * You are subscribed to the aus-soaring mailing list. * To Unsubscribe: send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] * with "unsubscribe aus-soaring" in the body of the message * or with "help" in the body of the message for more information.
