Fear not Peter
You, me and a host of others. my virus protection has
now been upgraded but a midweek off-schedule update was needed to cover this
one.
And if you haven't got it yet, please update your protection
RIGHT BLOODY NOW so we can stop it spreading - it comes as an E-mail with blank
attachments, one of which has an extension of either .scr or .pif which corrupts
the Kernel32.dll file in your Windows/System directory and calls the corrupted
file Kernel32.exe This is the one you need to remove, or it sends a copy
to people on your Inbox directory - the blurb says people who have sent you
unread E-mail but my experience is otherwise.
http:[EMAIL PROTECTED] will
tell you more about it. I got 6 copies at work today and there look like 3
more here at home tonight.
