Sirprisingly, the best place for the tube outlet, at least on Schempp Hirth fuselages is in front of the U/C doors, and slightly offset from the midline. It appears that this is a low pressure area, and the urine is sucked downwards. There is absolutely no staining or any evidence of streaking on my V2 with this set up, and most importantly, no corrosion problems in the U/C which I have seen with set ups venting into the U/C area. I have seen references to putting the tube on the U/C leg, then lowering U/C to pee, but that is certainly not necessary with this tube placement. Tube is mounted with a silastic fillet on the inside, slightly angled towards the rear, and cut off absolutely flush. Neat and foolproof ! A very adequate collector, or interface as Mike puts it, is the nozzle end from a silastic or other sealant cartridge. About two inches or so of cartridge body length seems to be an adequate volume for it to get away, but I guess that will be influenced by the adequacy of one's personal plumbing. OFITTHs will probably find that 10ml is an adequate volume!
