I flew out of Port Augusta in my Nimbus, taking a launch at 2pm with the temperature around 42 degrees. As I was crewing for 2 other gliders I had to ensure that I didn't outland.
I spent 3 hrs between 12,000 and 15,000ft at a cool 0.6 degrees outside. Did a leisurely 550km then went on a retrieve. What flights did other people do on Saturday in SA? Did FN out of Gawler achieve his 1000km attempt?
