What about things such as eyesight? A person can be forced to correct their vision when flying a powered aircraft, however when it comes to gliding, there is no requirement (according to the declaration) to wear glasses etc?
I find it interesting, because you're doing the same thing as powered pilots, but there's less enforcing of such medical requirements.
