And still, the book does deal with the other non conforming equipment -
(P17. top dot point)
there is a list of aircraft types not eligible for standard CofA issue,
which takes care of some sport aviation types. 
(same page. third dot point)
'experimental, amateur built or other sport aircraft' should use
manufacturers' pilot document.
