PS- (Anyone go gliding on the weekend.) Yep! Justine and I spent a lovely 2 and a half hours together, soaring in my Bergfalke 4 at Lochiel on Sunday. Thermals to 3,500' and moderate ridge lift meant a very pleasant winters afternoon.
We did a short cross country up the North Hummocks Range and then came back as the thermals started dying. We then counted the number of wedge tails (4) and kangaroos (1) on 'The Ridge' next to the airfield as we cruised up and down. 3 Adelaide Uni aircraft also flew a total of 7hrs 48 min in the conditions (they had 4 aircraft out on Saturday and flew a total of 11 hours 12 min on the ridge once the rain had cleared).
