Hi Just a quick reminder that the QSA State Gliding competition starts this Saturday (practice day - first competition day is Sunday) at Warwick, south of Brisbane.
Unlike the QSA Easter competition, which is a wholly club class competition, this is a multi-class competion - so many gliders will be carrying water ballast (if conditions warrant this) - this will make the racing finishes even more spectacular to watch as gliders are frequently dumping the last of their water whilst finishing at high speed! The competition runs all week, finishing on 4 Oct. Come along and see the sights - one of which will be Alice (flying in the 18m class by Brian Wade and I) - hopefully with our new oxygen system up and running (got to be an optimist about the weather :-)! -- Robert Hart [EMAIL PROTECTED] Strategic IT & open source consulting +61 (0)438 385 533 Brisbane, Australia http://www.interweft.com.au -- * You are subscribed to the aus-soaring mailing list. * To Unsubscribe: send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] * with "unsubscribe aus-soaring" in the body of the message * or with "help" in the body of the message for more information.
