At about 5 pm today Owen Jones lost his battle with melanoma,
and passed away in Adelaide.
Owen was a long time pilot and flew his beloved Diamant
EC from many fields across the country.
He will be fondly remembered here in Alice Springs as the
quiet achiever.
Did lots of miles cross country, and always got
home.
