Ron I have towed for many hours with a Tiger Moth and I think CASA would have some performance details people have also towed with C150's. it is ok with lighter Gliders but may not be suitable for the heaver fiber Glass models. have you contacted the Airworthiness bloke at GFA??

This then leads on to the question, if an aircraft is able to be fitted with a hook, how does one work out the engine power requirement? Is it a hit and miss affair? Or is there a calculation that can be done?
