This year is the Sunraysia Gliding Club�s Fiftieth Anniversary. The Club is planning to hold an Anniversary Reunion/Regatta on the weekend preceding the Melbourne cup, ie. Friday the 29th of October through to Monday the 1st November. This then gives people the opportunity to travel home on Cup Day. The Sunraysia Gliding Club is rich in history. It is hoped that many past and present SGC and GFA members will be able to attend to catch up with old flying friends and reminisce, participate in the Regatta or to enjoy a TIF flight. More information will become available as planning progresses. We are giving plenty of prior notice to help people with their plans and to book accommodation. There are other big events on in the Sunraysia area over that weekend such as the Wine and Jazz festival, so please make your accommodation arrangements early. We have a Caravan park owner in the club, so it would be great if his park was well supported by the visiting Gliding fraternity. Limited camping at the field is also available.
