Whatever you do, make sure you get the Federal Dept of Transport paperwork
filled out so that you have permission to import it.

This MUST be done well BEFORE the trailer is shipped, otherwise the customs
people will simply say "this vehicle is not approved for import into
Australia", and you won't be able to get it out of customs or if you do, you
won't be able to register it with your state dept of roads/transport
(whatever they call it in WA !). Your only solution would then be to re-
export it and get the paperwork sorted out, which is messy, time consuming
and expensive.

than German BUT the top clam shell IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN FIBREGLASS and not
Aluminium which is really better for Australia

I seem to remember a discussion on trailers in this list not so long ago. Is
there any traps that we need to be aware of?
