Just heard about your 304. Chris
Woolley/Frank Turner is getting Ventus 2xM which should be going in a week,
Mak Ichicawa is getting a new Ventus 2xT due Aug 8 and I am sharing the
container with him with a Swiss 3 wheel Falke 2000 being packed by Hannes
Zimmerman (Int Sailplane Services) at Lorch which is near NE of Stuttgart.
Ken Flower mik PikE partner lives at Basel and is organising from that
end. Scouts Sydney is getting hk36 super Dimona due to go from Austria
Oct I think and an ASW28 is going to Thompson's later in the year
while Southern cross are getting a DG 300 next year.
I am sure there are others but I have not heard of
them - If you want to pack a container then I could recommend Hannes
Zimmerman (See add www.segelflug.de) OR Otto
Tonges who sends all the containers to South Africa each year). I
have used both and could recommend both - Be advised you may get a box of
beer added to the bill!!!! In past I have used students at an akaflug and
they are good value also.. .
Last year I had Giles Taylor's nephew Gus pack
a container with motorglider in Vancouver.
If you get a trailer (I could recommend the polish
trailer which Harry Medlicott got last year BUT lid is glass and not aluminium -
which would be better for Australia I think) you must get import
permit and all invoices should be in the one name.
