I am doing this on behalf of all Australian glider pilots at no benefit to myself (other than getting a discount that everyone else shares on the book).   I am pleased to say that the third book in Martin Simons ‘Sailplanes’ trilogy is soon to be available.  See:   www.eqip.de   I will once again be trying to arrange a bulk order of the Martin Simons books and get them shipped to Australia. The price is Eur45.20 each. When I last looked, the exchange rates made it Oz$77.50 each. However, the publisher has offered a 15% - 25% discount for a large order.  However, (and this is different from previous orders we will need to pay 10% GST when it reaches our shores. Shipping/handling is an uncertain cost and is _likely_ to be in the order of oz$16 per book. Each book is approx 1.6kg.  I am looking to order at around the end of August.  Shipping by surface mail usually takes around 4 weeks, so I will be expecting the books around early October. As always, the exchange rate is beyond my control and I can't be definitive on the exact cost of the books till the order is finalised.  If you are interested, please reply to me [EMAIL PROTECTED] and I will provide further details.
