Leigh,

I have a roll of extra wide Bowlus maxi tape (white) I can let you try.

Previously I have used a 3M tape which works very well, but is very
expensive.

All PVC based tapes will shrink and embrittle thru UV exposure. Perhaps you
are getting more flying in each year?

Anthony

Subject: [Aus-soaring] Gap tapes

Hi All,

What are people using for gap tapes?

At Balak, for some years, we have been using clear All-weather tape.
There have been various versions available, some good, some rotten. Its
now getting hard to find. The Norton brand was the last of the better
ones, but there is either more UV getting through the ozone hole or the
tape quality has taken a dive as it won't even last 12 months now.

Hence, can I ask for advice on what you are using and where do you get it?

Thanks for helping,

Leigh Bunting
