I have used two digital cameras and tried to use one at an
airshow to photograph a F1-11 fly past. Because of the time it
takes to save the photo, it was pretty hopeless.

I have noticed that many folks using digital cameras are not
aware that you can greatly reduce this problem by half depressing
the shutter in anticipation of the shot. This gets the focus and
exposure functions out of the way. Many low cost cameras can even
take a quick shot using this method.

Also, I have found that many digital cameras seem particularly
weak at night-time - so practice first before hoping to get some
memorable shots of that outdoor party, etc! The better models can
have a powerful flash added that apparently helps greatly
(expensive).

are 12 or more pages long!
