In the Pitts in an hour I learned more about practical spinning

During the development of our ASK21 spin kit, we did the test flying at Gawler and I was nominated to be the 'light weight pilot' with Paul Mason (ASC CFI) and part of the experimentation was to apply in-spin and out-spin aileron. While out-spin aileron slowed the rotation down and flattened it out a bit, the in-spin aileron _really_ put a head of steam on the rate of rotation. It was quite surprising how quickly the revs sped up.

I got crook even quicker than normal and I was supposed to be writing notes on what was happening. I told Paul to carry on and ignore my burblings in the back seat.
