Still using my Alpha Genave radio - it always works much better than many of the more modern gizmos.

Hello Ian
First check is the 3 thermistors and if their OK then there is hope.  If not it can  become a meter repeater for a 2 seater.  Remind me your address and will send you a sheet which is well beyond faxing - vario is probably almost 30years old - how many other things electronic 30 years old do you have still working around your place.  I must admit there are still a few Alpha Genave radios out there and they would have to be over 30years old  ..........Ian McPhee

Subject: [Aus-soaring] Older varios

Hi all,
Does anyone know where I can get a Cambridge audio vario overhauled?
Has anyone got any old Cambridge they may wish to dispose of?
