Please don't say nasty things about the GFA not doing things because we are all the GFA....
Of course my report was given to the GFA AGM so anyone who cares about this could have read it before assuming GFA was doing nothing. Knocking volunteers who stick up their hand to do jobs for our sport and get nothing in return but feel they enjoy gliding enough to try to put something back, really is a bit rough.
My sincere apologies, Cath, if it was me that produced your comments but my post was not intended as criticism of the GFA but of its critic(s).
I know irony doesn't work on the internet but I got so mad about Rob Hart's post that I forgot all I'd learned.
I thought his ideas weren't new and I thought he was twenty years behind the 'dilatory GFA'. I also thought he hadn't done his homework and had no idea what he was talking about.
Enough of this subtlety. I'll revert to my usual train smash directness in future.
