I wonder what good effect was achieved by the TSA in the United States when
they selected a gentleman named Joe Foss for "extra scrutiny".
For those who don't know Joe was a USMC fighter pilot and ace on
Guadalcanal and was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. He was also a
former Governor of an American State. I gather the TSA wouldn't let him
carry his medal in the cabin. Note also he was over 80 years old at this time.
