Yes. In order of appreciation of performence. It is the closest you will get to an ability based
 level playing field. First among equals so to speak.
I have a higher regard for the World Class Glider Champion than I do for the rest.

It should be in the World Comps and the Champion of the class (whatever the A/C is from time to time) should be first onto the podium at the presentations followed by the lesser World Champions in 15M, Standard then Open classes.
 
The order of laudation in inverse relation to the wallet is deliberate.
