It may be that my old life insurance policy would not have covered me in the event of a gliding accident -- but I started gliding years after the policy came into effect and the issue never came up. But the default insurer associated with my new super arrangement is having a conniption at the thought of covering a glider pilot.
Has anybody had a GOOD experience with an insurer that will provide cover at a reasonable rate? Or does our sport represent an uninsurable risk?

1. I did not contemplate flying when I took out the policies, so the proposal was not invalid.
2. Any flying I did now could not invalidate the insurance cover.
3. They would not and could not impose a loading. and
4. Keep the policies I had with no change.
