Take a look at http://meteo.deltafox.net/landsat.html This is an
interface to the incredibly user-unfriendly NGA raster roam page. One
advantage is that it provides the see you alibration information, rather
than having to calculate it yourself.

There is also a discussion forum on satellite images at
http://www.seeyou.ws/forum/

Note that the link from Jonathan Gere http://www.geocities.com/jgere34/
does not work (in the Sydney region anyway...) as there are 2 images
overlapping

I contacted Andrej at see you over a year ago and pointed out that the
Australian maps did not cover one of the largest gliding clubs in the
country (Southern Cross), nor the area where the Australian height
record was made (Canberra CG). He did say he would look into it, but, at
the end of the day, they are a commercial operation, and I expect their
ongoing development effort eg for See You mobile comes first.

I understand that SeeYou is working on making satellite pic based maps
available for all of Australia which would offer the same resolution as
those available for for the Narromine region.

I have also been told not to ask 'when' as they will appear when they
are ready!
