Subject: [Aus-soaring] G109A maintenance issues
Hi,
We have an issue with the prop feathering/pitch change mechanism.
The major issue is that the pitch changing arm is bent, appears to be
bent by about 20-25 degrees (may be less, I have not yet measured it). As
a consequence the pitch change is now difficult if not impossible. I need
to find somebody who can advise me the best way of fixing it, somebody
suggested Rudi (I can't spell his surname) here in SA, but I need a
contact email or phone number.
Or if somebody else has come up against this issue could they let me know
what they have done.
This has also led to damage to the pulleys that operate the arm, does
anybody know where I can source replacements?
Many thanks
Sean Jorgensen-Day
