Add also the new Filser SX1000, which will do both FLARM AND ADS-B. The
SX1000 is a panel mounted glide computer with a PDA sunlight readable screen
and external vario, soon to be tested here in Aus.

I have been speaking to the FLARM guys and it appears we can build a version
here at our factory for a small fee so we are going through what this
entitles. An AUS built unit will be cheaper and as an option I can offer the
ADS-B reception, which will alert you to G.A aircraft as well - so we get
the best of both worlds!

Cheers

Nigel

Hi

I've just been catching up on the Mobile SeeYou forums and it appears
that mobile SeeYou (runs on an IPAQ pda in cockpit connected to a GPS
source) is being set up to connect to FLARM and to interpret the
collision warning NMEA sentences that FLARM creates, so Mobile SeeYou will
indeed see you (and warn the pilot accordingly).
