Hi all,

I recently purchased a Pawnee strut from Univair in the USA for our Pawnee at Beverley. I spoke to a bloke at Gippsland Aeronautics to try and get a quote and he told me they didn’t make PA-25 struts.

Total cost for one new strut from USA was $2330 US. Freight to Perth was about $1100 aussie dollars.

Hi John

I thought the Gippsland Aeronautics still needed X-Ray check, but not as often as the Piper originals. Is this incorrect? Do you know how much they charge?

Cheers

Hi Michael

What is the cost.

Did you consider Gippsland Aeronautics struts

Anyone interested in sharing the cost to import a set of sealed struts for your Pawnee and save the time and cost of having the old struts X-Rayed every 2 years?
