I've just had a part-week visit here with me by engineers talking fuel cells, hybrid energy; and inevitably gliding (as one does)
not only because they're German, but also as some of them come from Schramberg
(which Tom Gilbert can explain to the list)
One of the engineer's sons had done work experience on the carbon fibre components there, and is now studying in Australia.
Another gliding connection was revealed on the 'relaxation time' excursion during the visit to the pioneers' museum nearby where we were faced by the aerial photo of their complex made available by this list's Supreme Being from his 'falke some years back. Simon is still remembered and the photo is still used in their guide map.
Can't get away from this stuff, even in my mundane day-to-day working life.
