There used to bea good source of such info . It was called the the

Well Trevor, maybe you don't read those nowadays because a lot of
them have got a "hang gliding" or "triking" logo on the top corner of
the page - but the information is still there in the back copies of
the magazine, even if it does now call itself Soaring Australia.
Of course, if you REALLY wanted to make a difference you could write
such an article with a sailplane bent (not a bent sailplane, I hope)
and we would all applaud you.

To all the fixit people out there
Getting various odd bits and pieces for maintaining gliders, especially
if each one of us sometimes only needs them every 5, 10 or 20 years is a
gigantic task. First we have to figure out what we need, then try and
find out where to buy it. Lists like this are great since it makes no
sense to reinvent the wheel when someone else has already invested lots
of time and effort figuring out what is needed.
I think what most people do is to go to the people who have the most
experience in their club/area and ask them, however these people do not
know all things and bothering them unnecessarily wastes time for all
concerned.
Is there any kind of web database that is maintained by glider pilots
for where to get various bits and pieces in each state or nationally ?
