The New Zealand organsisers have asked me to see if there are any late model
standard class gliders (ASW28, Discus2, LS8 etc) available to transport to
NZ for the Grand Prix event in late January.
The aircraft would need to be shipped probably late Dec, early Jan (or
earlier if you wanted to do some more flying in NZ) and would be shipped
back in early Feb or later.
An opportunity to have your glider in NZ for all or part of their season,
transport costs etc would be covered, plus a hire fee for the glider.
This period does mean that gliders flying in the Std nationals won't have
time to get to NZ so it needs to be gliders that are not competing this
year.
A great opportunity for you and some friends to enjoy the spectacular NZ
southern alps, with most/all of the expenses covered.
