Hello fellow gliding addicts The eagerly awaited maiden flight of the ASG 29 is
getting close. Interested pilots are invited to

. The aircraft is an 18m (and/or 15m) flapped glider
designed purely with the interest of competition
pilots in mind. It borrows heavily from the successful ASW 27 although it is available
with a turbo engine as an optional extra. The ASG 29 is well on its way to become another
best seller for Schleicher. Production is already sold out well into 2008 with
a large number of the worlds top pilots on Schleicher’s
order book already. Australasian pilots are also responding well to the ASG
29. The first one is expected to arrive in six (6) other gliders to follow. The Australian
agent is in negotiations with the factory regarding a
demonstrator in time for the 2006/07 soaring season. Stay tuned to this channel. Bernard
