Subject: [Aus-soaring] Kinetosis

I've suffered from all types of kinetosis (motion sickness because we're special :-) )since I was a kid, I was told that I'd grow out of it but at 54 yrs theres no indication yet! Flying, I'm good for about 40 mins in the back seat or an hour or so solo if I don't medicate. After a particularly nasty experience with in flight vomiting during my first five hour flight I decided I couldn't go through that again. I started trailling the available medications starting with prescription stuff and nothing really worked until I tried good old Kwells. They work for me really well, as long as I remember to take them to the field. Seems that there are many different causes for the symtoms and different medications work for different causes, for me the cheapest works best. I had four really good hours in the back seat behind Bruce Taylor at the Qld Easter Comp and loved every minute.
