Private flight ridge soaring - no lower limit under present rules
Charter flight ridge soaring - 100 ft horizontal & vertical from obstacles
Any flight over a built-up area - 1000 ft unless in the process of landing
Any flight in an "approved" competition - can descend below 500 ft in
the last 5 km of approach to the finish line (but changes in the wind
and sooner rather than later)
Any other flight (except when landing) - 500 ft above highest
obstacle within 600 metres.
When landing - nothing currently specified but don't hit anything!
