You are quite correct, the Courier Mail report was as you describe. A proper one no doubt will come from the RAA when it becomes available and I will ask my source in the RAA to give us a copy or do we still have a RAA member on this list?

I agree, this appears to be a very accurate report no question.
My condolences to family, loved ones and friends, its so sad when a person dies in accidental circumstances, especially when its an aviator.
 
But without being seen to be callous , this is only a witness report and some comment by people who knew him, its not a report as a result of an informed investigation.
 
If this is what people want, go for it. But too me, while it might be fact, its information by the media and only of interest. Its not possible to determine which/what systemic failure  occurred to result in an accident.
