Today, Friday, was a boomer at Gawler the cloud base was at least 14,000ft.

 

Sean Jorgensen-Day took a Discus to Jamestown and return, 300km, during which he obtained his gold C height and achieved an average speed of over 100kph.

 

Todd Sandercock flew his first 500k distance to Quorn and return at an average speed of over 148kph.

 

Bruce Tunks flew his Libelle to Pt Augusta and return a distance of at least 500km during the flight he saw 16kts on the averager.

 

Peter Temple flew to Hawker and return a distance of 601km.

 

Aaron Stoop and his fellow pilot flew their ASH25E for a scenic 300ks.

 

Makoto Ichikawa flew his ASW 27 from Tocumwal a distance of approximately 600km and then proceeded to check out the country around Gawler eventually covering 840km.

 

Terry Jones from New Zealand flew FN around a 500km triangle Gawler, Jamestown, Kingston on Murray, Gawler.

 

Finally but not least Lars and Paul Mason flew the Nimbus4 DM around a cats cradle Gawler, Parachilna, Eudunda, Jamestown, Gawler for a distance of 1000km in 7.25 hours.

 

These were only the flights I heard of as many of the pilots had left the bar by the time I had finished instructing.
