Although only in its very infancy and barely configured, I’ve decided to go live on the new Australian gliding site www.ausgliding.com.

It consists of two sections, the proposed Australian Gliding Wiki (hereby dubbed “WikiGlide” ) at:

http://www.ausgliding.com/wiki/ . Much thanks to Bernie from Wollongong for giving it a small kick-start J

And also what I think is a much needed tool, a Forum / Bulletin Board that everyone can post to. This run in conjunction with this mailing list will ensure that we can get ideas out there and promote good discussion amongst everyone.

I’m also looking for people who are willing to be moderators on the board, so drop me a line if you’re interested.

Both the wiki and the forum require your input to make it work, in whatever way you think it is needed. There is no limit as to what kind of articles you can put on the site, so we can eventually build up a huge repository of knowledge.

There are suggestions for other content, such as Weather information, which can either be put into the wiki or given its own page.

So have a look, it’s a bit spartan at the moment (my forte is not graphic design), and feel free to leave me suggestions.

Cheers,

Gus
