au contraire.  I have to subscribe to a forum because I am a Betatester for
a proprietary business program and I frequently forget to look at it.  Also,
when I was on a dial up, it took a
long time to download messages.

I am now on ADSL which has made it faster but I much prefer an email list
and liberal use of the delete button as required.
