Thats the beauty of standards, there are so many of them. If you dont like the one you have, find one that you do like.

That _is_ the standard trailer plug Graham, everyone* uses that.

Well, that solves that problem!

I wish it was our standard - it looked a lot sturdier and better engineered than the 7-pin flat that us fringe-dwellers use.

Well, except for the eastern states of course. And Western Australia.
And maybe NT, not sure about them.
Oh and you can wire it in 2 different variations, but apart from that
it's the standard. :-)
