Derek,
No other takers on this one , but it made me feel sick. Not a good thing to
do, particularly when you could hear the person was struggling. I bet she
will never come back. Leads me onto the issue of keeping people up too long
on their initial flight. Particularly with high performance two seaters and
pilots trying to show too much on the first go. I am firmly in favour of the
first ride being kept to a circuit, sometimes easy in a winch club, but
harder in aerotow situation. We need to train the pilot to get off early and
just circuit bash. If the person then gets their air legs so to speak it can
be ramped up a bit with a longer flight.
But that type of showing off does nothing to enhance our sport.

ahead. The 3 Commonwealth Security Officers are on guard at Bacchus Marsh to
ensure no one takes off and glides into the MCG!
