Really sad to hear about Leeton. I looked at the website during the Joey glide and the club house etc looked really good. Sorry, I kick myself for not remembering your ex-member's name. If/When he comes back, will let you know.

G'day Peter.

Yes, Leeton is still (sort of) active.

Kev moved North some time ago to pursue a new career.
He is still gliding however.

There's only about 3 active members left at Leeton (myself
being one of them) but we've moved from the fly every Sunday
mode to the let's fly when we can mode. We've been developing
our relationship with Wagga GC members and have a bit of cross
traffic there as well. We're also maintaining the site as a 1st class
competition venue (JoeyGlide, InterService etc.)

We don't have a two seater at the moment - I'm in the process of
looking around for a reasonably priced/quality Dimona or Grob 109;
we still have the Hornet GMK.

Who was the ex Leeton member? I might know him.

John Mason
(Who didn't do his Silver C in the Kooka
but did it in the Clubby and had a fun time
anyway. So there.)

Hi Kevin,

your Leeton web site has not been updated since 8/2003.

Is your Club still active? :-) Just had one of your ex-members turn up
at
Caboolture wearing a Leeton Regatta shirt and I was trying to persuade
him
to get back into gliding.
